Our Double Braided Magnet Fishing Ropes are made for those heavy lifting jobs. The polyester, marine grade fibers are double braided with 5 individual inner core braids encased in a protective 32 strand polyester double walled shell. These 8mm Ropes for fishing magnets are thick enough to rest nicely in even some of the largest of hands, but also wound neatly to pack away easily. Each rope also comes with one end having a sewn thimble loop for easy carabiner attachment, and the other end free to use for tying off or tying directly to the magnet itself.

Included with each rope is an ultra strong aluminum (non-magnetic) carabiner that is rated to hold up to 5600 lbs of magnet fishing finds. Plus, because they are aluminum, they will not interfere with your magnet or get stuck to the side of the magnet like iron or steel carabiners tend to do.

This rope is amazing!! Best rope I’ve had!! As soon as I pulled it out of the box I was impressed! The rope is much thicker then any other kit I’ve had which is great for many reasons! For one it doesn’t tangle like my other thinner ropes. Also it’s double braided rope so it’s also much stronger. Strength is also important to me because I’ve lost two previous magnets due to lines snapping. The end of the rope with the carabiner has a heavy duty plastic eye splice that protects it from fraying where it often gets rubbed. Also the eye splice adds more strength and just looks and feels high quality!! The carabiner that comes with the rope is not magnetic which is amazing to me! My previous kits had magnetic carabiners which would sometimes catch onto the magnet and cause it to drag sideways. I’ll never have that problem with my new Centurion gear! I’m very pleased and impressed with the quality of centurion products. I would give this rope 10/10! I’ll update again in 6 months!

Love, love, love this rope. Anyone who has seen our videos knows that I always have rope troubles. I don't know how they did it, but this rope DOES NOT TANGLE. I used it all day and never once did it tangle. It is a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is worth it to avoid the aggravation of my rope always tangling up. The carabiner is very thick and sturdy. It has the screw lock on it which is preferred to keep your magnet on. Oh, it is also the 8mm and not the 6mm (1/4") thickness which is standard in most kits. Get the 8mm. I haven't pulled it with my car YET, but I have confidence it would do the job. A good rope & strong carabiner are essential and also an investment to avoid losing your very expensive magnets. Just bite the bullet and buy a good one.

WOW! When ordering a rope you expect the basics a well braided rope durable enough to use in water and along rough edges. Well this rope exceeded my expectations! Not only is the rope tightly and well braided it is mastwrly crafted end to end. The plactic loop in which one end of the rope lays and holds the caribeaner in is an added well thought plus on this rope. The caribeaner itself is some serious heavy duty stuff! Big enough and strong enough to attach to many places. The sliding and screw lock itself is perfectly designed, with nothing but heavy duty in mind. This rope complements any of its fellow magnets. Im sure this rope will last me a very long time. Well done!

This rope is absolutely fantastic! The quality of the rope plus the aluminum carabineer make it a champ. Unlike lower quality ropes, this rope doesn't tangle and remains in good stable shape. And of course with the carabineer being aluminum you don't have to worry about it magnetizing to the magnet! Do yourself a favor and pick up one of these ropes! They will really improve your magnet fishing experience!
